Venus & Serena Williams
Both the sisters, Venus and Serena Williams, had become big names all over the world and what helped them launch their career into stardom was the Olympics. They competed in doubles, and as a team won three golds. Each of the sisters has their own gold to their name. Serena won 23 Grand Slam individual titles, and in the Open Era, most women won. For decades the unstoppable duo has played tennis together and had no plan on stopping soon. In fact, Serena continues to make headlines and is very involved with social media.

McKayla Maroney
After pulling a silly face at the 2012 London Olympics, the Gymnast McKayla Maroney became the global sensation. In all the team all-round events in the same games, the American athlete took the gold. Sad to say, because of an injury Maroney had to cut short her gymnastic career. Even when she is unable to participate, she is still very involved in the sport, and will eventually begin her career as an artist. And on March 7, 2020, Mckayla released her first official single Wake Up Call.
