Meryl Davis

While she is not an individual skate champion, Ice dancer Meryl Davis, together with Partner Charlie White, won the gold medal in Sotchi 2014, improving on the silver of previous Games. It was the first time that an American team had won the event, and it was a great victory for the USA that consolidated both their historical positions. Since 1997, the couple has skated together, making them the longest-lasting American dance team. Davis is still performing in ice shows with him since they retired competitively in 2017.
