Sir Chris Hoy

Sir Christopher Andrew Hoy is a retired professional and competitive track cyclist. At the 2000 Summer Olympics, he won his very first Olympic medal which happened to be a silver one. Four years later, he dominated in the same event and managed to win a gold medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics. However, he suddenly announced his retirement and said that he would not join any competitions as a cyclist anymore. He diverted his attention to another sport – racing.

Sir Steve Redgrave

Sir Steven Geoffrey Redgrave is a retired rower who used to dominate in several competitions all around the world. All in all, he has a total of five gold medals coming from several Olympic Games. He got his very first Olympic medal in the rowing event at the 1984 Summer Olympics that was held in Los Angeles, California. He got his second gold medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics that took place in Seoul, South Korea. He won another gold medal at the 1992 Summer Olympics that was held in Barcelona, Spain. At the 1996 Summer Olympics, he got his fourth gold medal. Finally, to complete the list of his Olympic gold medals, he got his last one at the 2000 Summer Olympics that took place in Sydney, Australia.
