Originally bred to keep livestock safe, the Caucasian Ovcharka also goes by the name Caucasian Shepherd. This breed is known to be strong-willed, brave, and assertive. These are all good qualities in a family dog. However, it is of utmost importance to keep them socialized and trained since they still have fierce and sometimes unmanageable tendencies to defend!

Borzoi dogs look just like huge, tender poodles. The friendly and fluffy white giants can be properly socialized and trained, after which they can truly shine as family companions. However, these creatures still tend to be super stubborn. You will have to be patient with it! They are known to play rough and might not realize just how strong they are. Keep an eye on it when it is around your kid!

While Pit Bull Terriers aren’t aggressive by nature and wouldn’t start a fight, they would never back down from one, and they fight to the finish. For this reason, it’s not a good idea to let them run loose in dog parks. They aren’t a great fit for a family with children, mainly due to the fact that they need a lot of attention and care. In any case, no dog of any size or breed should ever be left with children unsupervised. This breed is definitely not a breed for everyone. Pit Bull Terriers are highly intelligent and need a lot of stimulation to keep them from getting bored.
