Scottish Terrier
Scottish Terriers aren’t the most affectionate dogs and they are fairly energetic. They love playing and can be somewhat stubborn. It’s not advised to leave your child with your dog to play since they have chasing instincts and can become aggressive easily. They have defensive reactions, making them unsuitable for little children. They won’t tolerate any nonsense and are possessive of their food and toys, leading them to defend them from everyone, including kids. Since they have strong minds of their own, they need to be taught early on that they aren’t the rulers of the world.
Staffordshire Terriers
They look a lot like American Pit Bull Terriers and are similar in some ways as well. Athletic and agile, they need moderate daily exercise. If they’re confronted by another assertive dog, they will readily engage and the results can turn deadly in a flash. When they get bored and don’t have enough stimulation and exercise, they tend to get destructive.
