Wendy’s- Fries
One of the tricky things about french fries is that since they aren’t meat or dairy, it’s more difficult to draw the line as to when something is no longer fresh. French fries, in particular, can sit out for quite some time before being eaten and not taste much different than they would fresh out of the fryer. Apparently, Wendy’s employees love throwing around the phrase “They Aren’t Old Until They’re Sold” in regards to their fries. Yikes…

KFC- Original Chicken
According to a former employee, KFC stops making fresh chicken at a certain point in the day, so if you were planning on going shortly before their closing time, you probably shouldn’t. You run the risk of being served chicken that’s been sitting under lights for hours or, even worse, chicken that has been dropped on the floor and placed back onto a serving plate.
