Steak ‘N Shake- BLT
Again, this one isn’t super gross, but it’s pretty shady, to say the least. A Steak ‘N Shake employee has said that their BLT is actually a huge ripoff when you actually are aware of the amount of food you’re receiving. It’s not uncommon for employees to cut corners with ingredients, especially bacon, in order to cut costs on their end. Basically, you’re paying full-price but only getting 80 percent of the food you should be getting.

Panera- Soup
Just like their pasta and pastries, Panera soup is never fresh. It comes in a bag and is placed in something called a “re-thermalizer”, which is really just a sink filled with boiling hot water and left to thaw out. Often times the bags of soup pop open while they’re thawing, and let’s just say, these re-thermalizers are not washed very frequently.
