Clean Up Your Diet
While there are hundreds of opinions on just what is the perfect diet, one thing stays consistent: highly processed foods don’t make a face pretty in any which way. In order to keep your skin as taut and glowy, make sure to load up on colorful whole foods, such as blueberries, broccoli, kale. Along with that, keep good fats in mind like avocados, salmon, and walnuts. Finally, add some lean protein into the mix. If you still feel bloated or itchy, think about eliminating or cutting down on dairy and gluten. Of course, make sure to consult with your physician about anything of the sort to get the best possible care for you.
Make The Most Of Green Tea
If you want to decrease puffiness under your eyes, use green tea. No, not for drinking (although that has incredible health benefits as well). To de-puff and tighten your delicate under-eye skin, soak a couple of bags of green tea in hot water as you normally would, then wait for them to cool. You can even place them in the refrigerator to ensure they’re fully cold. After that, gently apply them under the eyes for five to six minutes. The reason this works is thanks to the caffeine green tea has – it constricts the blood vessels in sensitive tissue. Of course, the cold also reduces puffiness and inflammation in the skin.
