Young fans who are thinking of sneaking into the set should think twice. If you do not look like you are of drinking age, you will need to bring an official legal document to enter the studio. To be fair, this rule is a bit ironic. After all, many celebrity guests, including the 13-year-old yodeler Mason Ramsey, would not be allowed to sit with the audience members on a normal basis!

The producers of the show seem to like creating a sense of anticipation before the audience is allowed to go in. Fans that hope to grab a front-row seat to The Ellen DeGeneres Show are asked to wait outside the lot of the studio. Yes, this includes the people who were already promised tickets.
