Luciana Paluzzi
There is something about Luciana Paluzzi that makes her stand out from the others. For one, she boasted a great resume before she played Fiona Volpe in Thunderball. Sadly, she did not get to star in a huge blockbuster hit after this role. Nonetheless, she kept acting until the ‘80s rolled in.
Akiko Wakabayashi
Over the course of the ‘50s and ‘60s, Akiko Wakabayashi was pretty unknown in her home country of Japan. It all changed for her once she earned a role in a 1962 movie called King Kong vs. Godzilla. The actress later earned a small part in You Only Live Twice. She was able to impress the producers, who ended up offering her a bigger role. As Aki, she made history as the first non-European actress to become a Bond girl. Despite this, she decided to retire after the Bond movie.
