Meghan Markle had to kiss her Snapchat and Instagram followers goodbye following her engagement to Prince Harry in 2017. It is a rule that members of the Royal Family are not allowed to manage their own social media accounts. Meghan and the others must share updates using only the Kensington Royal account.

The Royal Family are not supposed to take selfies. The reasoning behind this is a member of the family should always make eye contact and engage in a proper conversation with any person instead of just taking a picture. No more dog selfies for you, Meghan!
