In 2000, the actress and Bob Schneider, her boyfriend of the time, had been traveling for a holiday. The plane then skidded off the runway! It was a good thing that no one got hurt during the plane crash. It happened in a snowbound resort town called Jackson Hole in Wyoming. Reports say it happened after the pilot got confused by the dangerous conditions and mistook ground lights for something else.

She Once Had A Restaurant In Texas
In 2006, she opened her very own restaurant in the historic Stratford Arms Building at 500 W. Sixth St. Called Bess Bistro, it began as a French bistro. However, it started to stray from its French roots when a new executive chef joined the team. In 2009, the actress opened the hybrid deli, bakery, and flower shop called Fancy & Staple across the street. Sadly, Bess Bistro was shuttered in September 2015.
