Smith started working as a school bus driver in 2014. Not once did she imagine she would end up on that famous couch. She lived in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. It was about 20 miles southeast of Washington, D.C.

Her daily bus routes serve the Prince George’s County Public Schools in the area. Driving was more than a way for her to pay the bills. It was a passion for Smith as well! She enjoyed doing it and likes meeting the pupils.
