Leanza Cornett

The 1993 Miss America winner, Leanza Cornett had suffered a head injury before being admitted to the hospital. On October 28th, 2020, she died at age 49. In response, the Miss America Organization took to their Facebook page and expressed their condolences and sorrow. They wrote, “Leanza had a bright and beautiful spirit, and her laugh was infectious. We know that too so many, including all of you, she meant so much”.

Kenzo Takada

A fashion designer, Kenzo Takada founded the now-famous Kenzo brand. He died on October 4th, 2020 at age 81 from COVID-19 complications. His death came about 50 years after he had launched his very first collection in Paris. That was six years after he moved to Paris from his home country, Japan. He was actually one of the first-ever male students in Tokyo’s Bunka Fashion College.
