Ronald Reagan
In high school, Ronald Reagan developed an interest in acting, sports, and storytelling. Once he graduated, he enrolled in Eureka College in Illinois, a liberal arts school. There, he became a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity, a cheerleader. He majored in economics and sociology. As we all know, he went on to become the president of the United States in 1981 after losing the election in 1976 and running again four years later.
Franklin D. Roosevelt
Here we have another U.S. president who happened to have been a cheerleader during his time at Harvard University. On top of that, he became the editor-in-chief of The Harvard Crimson daily newspaper. After getting his A.B. in history, he went on to enroll in Columbia Law School in 1904. However, he dropped out in 1907. Why? Because he had passed the New York bar exam. It wasn’t until 1932 that he became president of the United States.
