Mandy Moore
Particularly for the actress and former cheerleader Mandy Moore, life really does imitate art. The Princess Diaries star was once a cheerleader from Pop Warner that really goes some way to explaining why she was able to perfect her role as Lana Thomas in The Princess Diaries waving her pom-poms. At a young age, Moore proved to have talent when she launched her hit single, “Candy,” at the age of 15! Moore also played the lead in A Walk to Remember, and now stars in the television show This Is Us. In 2019, Moore was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Proving to everyone she’s talented.
Kirsten Dunst
As for her outstanding performance in the cheerleading comedy Bring It On as Torrance Shipman, it’s really not a bit surprising that Kirsten Dunst was a cheerleader herself until 2000, which happened to be the same year as the movie released. Grew up in New York, at the age of 3, Dunst was signed to Ford Modeling Agency and appeared on more than 100 TV commercials. The blue-eyed beauty has found time for Laurel Hall School and later Notre Dame High School to be a cheerleader for quite a while. She’s most popularly known in the Spiderman Trilogy as the love interest of Spiderman, Mary Jane.
