At first, Su’s family thought it was really cool that their dog was bigger than other people’s dogs. However, whenever the family visited him in the backyard where his little house was (they started keeping Little Black there once he became too big for their house), they would see him standing up and growling, making them feel scared and confused.

Instead of barking, Little Black would roar and growl, but Su hadn’t had a dog before, so she thought this trait might be unique to his breed. However, as time passed, she could not convince herself anymore that this was true, seeing as his facial features became more pronounced daily and the entire family started to realize their pet dog didn’t look like a dog.
