Without a map or a compass, Knight went into the direction of the sun in all of its scorching summer glory. After this, he went southward and kept driving until he used up the gas in his car. He then left the car and continued walking until he could no longer see his new Subaru from where he was. He actually left the keys to the car on the dashboard!
