In addition, while Chris was playing for the team, the Michigan Wolverines appeared in the NCAA finals two times… Not too shabby! Chris Webber was implicated in the basketball scandal that rocked the University of Michigan in the mid-‘90s. After he was found guilty, all of his college awards were taken away from the tremendous athlete, leaving the university with nothing. Later on, Chris was convicted of perjury as it was discovered that local boosters had given him over $200,000 in cash.
