Subway is a very popular restaurant company that has thousands of branches built all over the world. It was founded by Peter Buck and Fred DeLuca on the 28th of August in Bridgeport, Connecticut. Even though Subway is one of the leading restaurants in the whole world, it still faced several problems that affected its financial stability. Because of those problems, the restaurant company was forced to close a total of 1,100 branches in 2018.

Chipotle Mexican Grill, which is simply known as Chipotle, is a restaurant company that was established by Steve Ells on the 13th of July 1993 in Denver, Colorado. People used to love all of their food so much until the company was involved in a couple of controversial issues. Last year, the company suffered from a cyberattack that put all of the customers and the employees’ details in a critical situation. In addition to that, several customers were diagnosed suffering from E. Coli and it was discovered that all of their illnesses could be traced back to the food that they had eaten at Chipotle. With those controversial issues, a lot of people simply decided not to eat at Chipotle anymore – that made the company’s sales decrease drastically, forcing them to close a lot of branches.
