Potbelly Sandwich Shop is a restaurant company that was founded by Bryant Keil and Peter Hastings on the 14th of January 1977 in Lincoln Avenue, Illinois. When the owners realized that their restaurant started as a very successful one, they decided to open more branches in different locations. However, as time went by, their sales began to decrease. That forced them to close all of their branches that were located in Toronto in the middle of 2019.

Jack In The Box is a fast-food restaurant company that was established in San Diego, California, in 1951. Robert O. Peterson, the founder of the fast-food chain, really thought that his restaurant could get near other famous fast-food restaurants’ fame and success – well, it turned out that he was wrong. Years after expanding and building more branches in the United States, Jack In The Box’s sales did not increase that much. 2018 was the year when it began to close some branches. As of now, all that we got is their announcement regarding their plans on closing more stores – so that they could focus on the few locations that are performing well.
