Noodles & Company

Noodles & Company is a fast-casual restaurant that was founded in the middle of 1995 by Aaron Kennedy in Denver, Colorado. A lot of people used to love eating at this restaurant because their meals taste really good until 2016 came – a cyberattack in Noodles & Company’s database put the customers’ personal information at risk. The restaurant company was sued and had to pay a total of $11,000,000. That controversial issue brought a very huge loss to the company’s sales, making them shut several branches down.

Joe’s Crab Shack

Joe’s Crab Shack is a restaurant company owned by Landry’s Inc. since 1991. A few years after it was established, it was one of the most popular and successful seafood casual dining restaurants in the United States. However, after a lot of seafood restaurants opened through the years, Joe’s Crab Shack became less popular, making the company’s sales decrease. Because of that, they had no other choice but to close 41 branches in 2017. Now that they have a total of 58 stores that are operating, the company is still planning on shutting down more locations so that they could cut some expenses and increase their sales somehow.
