IHOP or International House Of Pancakes is a restaurant company that is loved and adored by millions of people all over the world because of its delicious breakfast meals. It was founded in the middle of 1958 by Al Lapin Jr., Al Lapin, Jerry Lapin, and Albert Kallis. As of 2019, there are a total of 1,841 IHOP branches across the whole world. Because of several factors, the company has come into a decision to close some branches – with over 30,000 employees working for IHOP, it is very sad to think that any of them are about to lose their jobs.

Burger King

Burger King is a popular fast-food restaurant company that is also well-known for their delicious hamburgers. It was founded in the middle of 1954 in Jacksonville, Florida, by James McLamore and David Edgerton. Burger King has Restaurant Brands International as its parent organization. As of today, it has 17,800 branches operating worldwide, but the restaurant company has recently announced that they would be closing hundreds of stores from different locations.
