He died while on duty. “He didn’t make it home,” the officer told the young man. He clearly struggled to get the words out of his mouth. It was so sad that it broke William’s heart. The only thing he could do was to listen.

William could not help but feel bad for the cop. He was thinking of this cop who lost his son in Iraq while he was out here enjoying his life like normal after coming back.
