The statistics do not support the assumption that women are poorer drivers than males. If you watch movies, you can think that every female driver is inexperienced. Also, there are numerous gags given by female characters such as Letty from the Fast and Furious franchise. Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Bang Bang was also not immune to this problem. Caractacus Potts laughs with Really Scrumptious in one scene, “If women want to drive motor cars, they should learn to operate one.” Such a remark would not be taken lightly these days.

How come female movie characters may wake up with every lock in place? We are all aware that someone who has just awoken would appear less than flawless. This is not the situation in Hollywood, where ladies appear to wake up wearing makeup. We all know that this is impossible because there should be streaks on the pillow. It’s a good thing that this stereotype has become less popular in recent years. Anna in Frozen wakes up looking haggard and dirty, just like women in real life. This is also true for masculine characters, who wake up every day with no beard stubble.
