The Imagination Library
In 1995, she began the book distribution project “The Imagination Library”. Dolly was inspired to start this project because of her own father’s inability to read and write. Therefore she started a drive which donates books to children under age 5, with the sole intention of getting them to love with books and reading. Not long after and the initiative was in Canada, the U.K. and Australia.

Disguises, Disguises
At one point, Dolly felt it was necessary to walk around in public completely disguised. Just like most celebrities, she wanted to be able to walk the streets without anyone recognizing her. She would use different wigs and makeup but it just didn’t always work. Someone always recognized her. ‘A’ for effort, though.
