Too Afraid To Ride

“Dollywood” is Parton’s very own amusement park. With tons of employees and visitors, Parton herself is actually too frightened to ride the rides in her own park! Although she did put on a brace face and ride a small Ferris wheel for a publicity stunt.

Death Threats? No Problem

First of all, Dolly Parton has never held her tongue when it comes to supporting the gay community. Throughout the years, she has been more than generous, making contributions to help LGBT families in the blink of eye. In fact, at Dollywood she chose to make a ‘Gay Day’ so that all LGBT families, and anyone else who wanted to join, could celebrate together. However the KKK was not about to let that happen. They began to send death threats to Parton against her ‘Gay Day’. Instead of canceling the event, Parton ignored the threats and celebrated the event regardless.
