These days, Trump goes against celebs who criticize his style of governing. However, this did not use to be the case. Even though he has since distanced himself from certain famous folks, there was a connection that people looked into. Here is a photo of Donald Trump and Jeffrey Epstein at the Mar-a-Lago resort in 1997. They were friends for over a decade, and Trump once told New York Magazine, “I’ve known Jeff for 15 years. Terrific guy. He’s a lot of fun to be with. It is even said that he likes beautiful women as much as I do, and many of them are on the younger side. No doubt about it — Jeffrey enjoys his social life.”

The comments he made about Jeffrey liking ladies “on the younger side” received a lot of scrutiny in 2019. After all, Epstein got arrested for sex trafficking minors in New York and Florida. For decades, there were rumors that Epstein was a pedophile. Trump partied with him at the Mar-a-Lego estate often. They ultimately had a falling out. In 2004, the wealthy financiers got into a bidding war for the Maison de l’Amitie or House of Friendship. It was a popular oceanfront Palm Beach property that went to Trump in the end. It must have upset Epstein because they did not speak after that. Four years after that, Trump sold this estate to a Russian businessman by the name of Dmitry Rybolovlev.
