Berger Picard
The Berger Picard, also known as the Picardy Shepherd, was bred in France. It now costs around $2,500. Its ears give it a distinctive look as it gives the dog an extra five inches in height. It was another herding dog, although it was nearly extinct by the time the First World War came to an end. During the Second World War, it was almost wiped out. Luckily, there are still some of them around to this day. They are pretty expensive and rare, however. This aggressive yet loyal companion normally weighs 70 pounds.
Perro De Presa Canario
Also called the Canary Mastiff, the Perro De Presa Canario has its origins in the Canary Islands. You can buy one for $3,000. It herded animals on the farm in the past. The dog breed is considered unique and can be compared to the Molosser. It is good as a hunting, fighting, and catch dog. You will have to train them early on so that they do not grow up to be aggressive. It has a normal lifespan of nine to eleven years. Male ones can grow as heavy as 139 pounds!
