This is a weird one. One old rule in England is the Royal family cannot eat shellfish. This rule was created to prevent food poisoning. Prince Charles openly does not follow this rule.

Sovereign Grant
Taxpayer money is collected in the HM treasury. Every two years the Queen gets a “Sovereign Grant” which is used to pay salaries, for travel expenses and to fund maintence of the palaces. In 2016, the Queen recieved £43 million or $57.5 million USD. Not too shabby!
