Rudy Galindo
Rudy Galindo never competed in the Olympics, and most of his most revered career achievements was when he skated in pairs competitions alongside Kristi Yamaguchi. They won the 1988 World Junior Championships, as well as the 1989 and 1990 U.S. National Championships. Both Rudy and Kristi decided to pursue solo skating careers after this. Galindo did reach the top of the men’s singles and he shocked the world by completing a triple jump eight times at the 1996 U.S. Championships where he won the gold medal.
