She hurried out of the shed just as her parents were entering the garden because she knew they must have heard her. “Abby? What is happening? What on earth were you doing inside?”Do you mind?” her father urgently demanded as he hurried to the shed’s entrance and swiftly closed it.

As she gripped her foot, Abby sobbed in agony. Abby’s mother immediately brought her back inside after discovering some blood. She examined the wound there and discovered a little nail. Since Abby wasn’t wearing any shoes, she must have stepped into it. “Connor, weren’t you cleaning up the shed?!” her mother snapped at her father.
