It is common practice for the 2 first ladies (the former and the future) to sit for a cup of tea. During this meeting, the women exchange niceties to one another as they sip their Earl Grey. Laura Bush offered assistance to Michelle Obama during their tea time, just as Michelle did for Melania Trump.

The president isn’t the only member of the first family to stay in the White House, it is customary for the entire brood to reside there as well. Since the White House is the first family’s official residence, we can see JFK and his 2 children enjoying a moment of play in the historical structure.
