Fire In Paradise (2019)
This documentary is about the Camp Fire tragedy that happened in Paradise, California, starting on November 8, 2018. The film plots the course and shows the consequences of the terrible disaster — part of an unfortunate new trend in wildfires in California, and the deadliest fire in U.S. history in more than 100 years — through interviews and video footage from emergency responders and survivors. Hache (2019)
Inspired by true events, Hache is about Helena (played by Adriana Ugarte), a prostitute who begins as a simple pawn used by Malpica (played by Javier Rey), the leader of a gangster band which operates in Barcelona during the 1960s. In the beginning, Helena is at the organization’s lowest rung but a steep and dangerous learning curve takes her to the top and leads her to seizing control of the organization’s heroin operation. Hache is created by Verónica Fernández and its director is Jorge Torregrossa, who also directed La vida inesperada, Velvet Collection, and Cocaine Coast. Available on November 1.
