Research has shown that people sitting near the front of the plane have a higher chance of dying during a plane crash. If you want the safest seats, they are those near the emergency exit. We are all familiar with the oxygen masks that will be deployed when the cabin pressure goes lower than a specific point. However, this rarely ever happens. We know that sounds like too little time, but it is usually enough. If ever this happens to you, all you need to do is to relax and breathe as you wait for the pilot to bring the plane to an altitude where you can breathe even without the equipment.
