Amaya is Mariska Hargitay and Peter Hermann’s second daughter. The couple adopted Amaya after they had their first child, August. However, their family didn’t stop there. The couple adopted a son as well. Unfortunately, Amaya’s birth mother, Jayne Mansfield, passed away when she was only three years old.
