1999: Stevie Wonder

When Stevie Wonder graced the halftime stage, he did it with elegance and style. He performed his best hits and let Gloria Estefan have a shot at redeeming herself. He performed “Sir Duke” to honor the centennial birthday of Duke Ellington as well. Meanwhile, Gloria Estefan delivered a salsa percussion that impressed everyone! Big Bad Voodoo Daddy made an appearance as well. However, we daresay most people will never forget how Stevie Wonder drove that car on the field!

2003: Shania Twain, Sting, No Doubt

This was definitely not Shania Twain’s best performance. It was basically considered a snooze fest. If you need proof, just know that the cameraman zoomed in on the keytar guy. It was a good thing that Sting and Gwen Stefani were able to salvage the show somewhat by harmonizing to “Message in a Bottle”!
