Fixing Tear in Screen Door
During the hot summer months, our screen doors allow us to let fresh air into the house without inviting in unwanted creatures or guests. When a tear appears out of nowhere on our screens, however, it can be an expensive replacement.
Clear nail polish is a quick, easy, and cheap way to help you fix these issues. Adding a few drops of clear nail polish to the tear in the screen will act as an invisible glue, restoring perfect functionality to your screen.
Keeping Your Home Warm
We will do anything during the cold winter months to keep as much heat inside the house as possible, whether that means lighting a fire or simply leaving the heating on all day. Bubblewrap, on the other hand, is a fantastic way to insulate a home.
Simply cut the bubble wrap to fit your window, wet the bubble side, and press it against the glass. Any heat that escapes will be trapped. During the summer, the bubble wrap is less effective because the sun adds to the heat build-up.
