Stained Bathtub
A stained bathtub is one of the easiest ways to make a bathroom appear older. This could be the result of rust or lime build-up. The last thing that most people want is a filthy bathtub. Fixing it, on the other hand, requires only a simple solution and a little muscle.
Combine equal parts cream of tartar, baking soda, and lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Mix the ingredients until they form a paste, then apply to the bathtub’s surface. Allow 30 minutes to pass before wiping off, and your tub should be renewed.
Slamming Door
Some doors in homes seem to slam hard no matter how gently you close them for some reason. Not only can this damage the door, but it can also be extremely inconvenient, especially if someone is trying to sleep.
You can either use peel-and-stick weather stripping or a wide rubber band to solve this problem. If you choose the rubber band option, wrap it around both sides of the doorknobs, being careful not to cover the latch.
