Robin Scherbatsky is another of the main characters in the series. A close friend to Lily, Ted, and Marshall, she also becomes a love interest for Barney later in the series. The aspiring news anchor moved to New York City from her home city, Vancouver, Canada. Of course, Robin is also one of Ted’s love interests. The couple has an on-and-off relationship throughout the series. A classic “tomboy”, Robin is known to have a love for hockey, guns, and whiskey.
