Penn State’s Nittany Lions are members of the Big Ten Conference and one of the oldest U.S. college football teams. They were founded in 1887 and now have nearly 750,000 fans at home game. They are amongst the top 10 teams with the most energetic fans. With two national and three conference championships, they are number 8 for all-time total wins. They also have four Big Ten Conference championships, 48 bowl games, and their very own Heisman winner John Cappelletti. Their head coach Joe Paterno has successfully led the Lions for 46 seasons, which is the record for any coach in the FBS.

in 1898, the U-M Wolverines won their first Big Ten football title and a national title in 1901. The Michigan Stadium most locally referred to as the “big house” was the most expensive and largest at the time of construction in 1927. The team is proud of having the most all-time wins of any team with stats of 951-344-36. They are also credited with 42 conference titles, 11 national titles, and three Heisman winners.
