Most dog owners know that grapes and chocolate are toxic for dogs, but sometimes accidents happen if your pup gets curious while you’re not looking. Giving your dog a very small amount of hydrogen peroxide will induce vomiting and can save their life. Don’t worry, it’s safe. Make sure to use 3% hydrogen peroxide, though, since any higher concentration will be toxic for your pet. Give your pup one teaspoon per every five pounds of their body weight and monitor them closely. You should notice them start to vomit no more than 15 minutes after they drink the hydrogen peroxide, and it can last for up to 45 minutes. Be sure to consult with your vet afterward.

Clean Makeup Brushes
“Through daily use, makeup brushes can accumulate dead skin cells, dirt, oil, pollution, and bacteria,” said dermatologist Dr. Debbie Palmer, co-founder of the Dermatology Associates of New York. If you don’t clean your makeup brushes thoroughly and properly, they can cause staph infection. Mix one teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide in a bowl of warm water and soak your brushes for about ten minutes, moving them around to get the mixture all over them. You should then remove the brushes and rinse them thoroughly with cold water and let them air dry.
