Zhouzhuang Water Town

Zhouzhuang Water Town is near the main city of Suzhou and is considered to be the best water town in China. Its nickname is “Venice of The East” due to its beautiful canals. You might be wondering, what is a water town? It is an area with canals, temples, homes and businesses that were built decades ago. In most water towns, including Zhouzhuang, you can see traditional architecture, folk customs, have great street food, see beautiful canals and bridges, and even take a ride in a boat.
