Leaving The Airport
The 14-hour time difference rendered Gianni and Rose understandably bewildered. They were unaware of whether it was the morning, evening, night, or day. Gianni checked his phone and determined that it was approximately 4:00 pm in Tokyo. The Tatakis ought to be present. Departing the airport took only five minutes, and security was expedient. In addition, they had no baggage. Gianni said, “To Kawasaki please!” as he exited the airport. They traveled to the city.

A 20-Minute Ride
The distance between Tokyo and Kawasaki was only 24 kilometers and would take around 25 minutes to go. Gianni looked up the address that the Director of Medicine in Boston had given them; it shouldn’t be difficult to locate. Rose and Gianni’s anxiety was greatly reduced by the fact that the Tatakis were awaiting them. It remained to be seen if they would be received with hostility or courtesy, but it was a pleasant feeling that they were willing to meet them. They had arrived when the vehicle came.
