As the plane touched down on the runway, Gianni and Rose could not believe it; they were in Japan! They had always desired to visit Japan, but not under these circumstances. Rose exhaled deeply and signaled for Gianni to depart the aircraft. She could not take the notion of how expensive the flight tickets were. She anticipated that they would be in debt for a while. Rose inquired, “How much were the tickets Gianni?”

“There was no choice bella, I took whatever was there” Gianni explained. She gave him an odd expression. When he did not wish to tell her something, he would avoid her directly. Gianni let out a sigh. “Last-minute flights are often expensive. Each of these tickets costs $4000 “. Rose sighed uncomfortably. It could have been worse; $4000 for two seats is not terrible. Gianni breathed in deeply. “No bella, it was $4000 each” Rose wept; this child would be the greatest delight of her life. She refocused her efforts on locating the Tatakis since she yearned for her child.
