Rose was on her way to a regular ultrasound following months of glowing pregnancy. These were extremely popular and simply examined the health of the fetus in the womb. Rose had considered herself fortunate, having suffered no morning sickness or other pain up until this time. However, this time the appointment was everything from routine. As Rose entered the room, the doctor was sitting uncomfortably at his desk. She observed a brown envelope with a large red ‘PRIVATE’ stamp on the desk, and he was excitedly twiddling his thumbs. Rose got anxious about the contents of the envelope.

“What’s inside that?” she questioned. The physician saw it with worry. He said, “Well…it seems as though there has been a huge problem, we can’t quite believe it and we don’t know how it happened” We are incredibly sorry. Rose began to shiver as she attempted to determine what had occurred.
