Similar to many of his former co-stars, Costello continued his career in acting after playing Commander Onclay. Aside from his role on General Hospital, the actor also had guest appearances on various shows, including Criminal Minds, Everybody Hates Chris, and The West Wing.

Sadly, JAG had to end, so Cobbs’ time playing Chaplain Matthew Turner also came to an end. After the show, he played Tony on The Drew Carey Show and several other guest roles. He was also played Reginald in Night at the Museum with Ben Stiller. Very recently, he started to work on the new series Fly, where he is playing Vernon Wyatt aka Pop.
