Ok we get it, kitchen desks seem extremely practical to do work and other paper/computer-related activities. But there’s something about the desk in the kitchen that is just not right. The only viable reason that you should need a laptop in the kitchen is if you are using it to read a recipe. So rather put your work stuff in an office or in another space where it belongs. In fact, we’re sure you don’t want to spill anything on your laptop.

Gold Fixtures
Back in the day there was a time when gold fixtures were a standard in pretty much household, but that time was not in this day and age. For some reason, there are families are not able to part ways with their gold fixtures, and as predicted they have surely weathered and no longer look as shiny and lavish as they used to. Perhaps displaying one piece of gold furniture here and it is acceptable, but continuing the gold theme throughout your house not necessary unless you are a Saudi prince.
