Plastic Storage
Not everyone can afford the most elegant storage options and rather go for something cheap like plastic storage. Regardless, there is something about seeing these in a living room that screams out, “I shouldn’t be here.” If it’s a child’s playroom it makes a lot more sense. But if your kids are fully grown or you don’t have any, having a room that is sophistication does not include plastic storage.

Fluorescent Lighting
Many people don’t know it, but you’ll be surprised how unpleasant numerous types of lighting can be in your kitchen. Fluorescent lighting is a great example, which can often be related to morgues and nightclubs. We understand it makes a great source of strong light. But please, rather use traditional lightbulbs. Its also not a good idea to use fluorescent lights that will do no good for your eyes. Joanna Gaines truly believes that our kitchens are for cooking and eating, not for sci-fi conventions.
