Queen Elizabeth has been the only female royal to join the military. She truly broke the boys only tradition and served in the Armed Forces where she was under the Women’s Auxiliary Territorial Service. The Queen learned how to fix truck engines and did her part just as any soldier did. She felt truly passionate about World War II and serving her country.

She Attended Multiple Funerals
Royals are not supposed to attend funerals as it overshadows the funeral and honoring of the person who died but the Queen has made a couple of exceptions in the past. Queen Elizabeth attended the funeral of Louis Mountbatten who was a close relative and her friend, however, she has also made exceptions for the prime minister, close friends and individuals like Margaret Thatcher, Princess Diana, and Winston Churchill.
